WebSites from China are more creative than Spore/Msia

well, china was backward 50 yrs. Now it seems they made up all the time they lost; the people there are more willing to explore the opportunities in web and they are more gutsy and gunho in creating interesting websites. They were backward before but I am not sure now.
People from this part of the world are less enthusiatic. I hope I am wrong. I dont seems to find any good website except this popular sgforum.
what say you.?? When you ask people what are the websites from china.They will tell you tom,sina,alibaba. If you ask people here, I only say sgforum. -
They take super long to load because over creative. They have this sliding picture which will block some words and links until some links are totally unaccessible and unviewable because it's blocked by the sliding picture.

most are horrendously cluttered, plenty of banner ads and the links lead u to more links and more links and u still cannot find wat u want -
Broadband. I am so fed up with this problem that I basically don't visit them, save for a few good Chinese websites. As FireIce has said, it's cluttered, too many banner ads, links that lead to nowhere or more links to don't know where. their creativity or popularity is because the people there are free to post whatever they want on the web.

I 2 surf many chinese websites. At first, it was difficult to navigate. Later, I find it easier as I think is because of the amount of info need to put into a page..!!!
When you surf sina/tom/alibaba, you get so much info and you find new things every now and then.
For slowness, I think their servers are handling millions of requests. But I still get fast loading.
Let put things into perspectives :
1. They are creative that they create their own Messenger software and integrate it into website.
you can upload your own singing,photo, home make movie for people to vote.

I think you're looking at the wrong things buddy.
If you're going to compare putting gadgets and integration of other softwares into the website. It's not about being creative, it's about culture and ablilty.
By throwing things into a website and navigating websites with popups ain't creative.
Truly good websites are Surfer Friendly and mantain website objectives.
Those Chup Pah Lang china websites cannot be called creative.

they are to dumb to know what makes a good website.
having too much thing on the site doesnt makes it good. especially when all those stuff are useless graphics which takes up bandwith and make my already slow com even slower.
good website should be simple and direct. giving people what they are looking for. and not just putting in tonnes of advertisement which benefits the website owner... -

You know ar, server has their own limits. Going over means lag. Whether or not they are user-friendly is another issue. If you studied IA before, you would know why. Compare the Chinese news websites with any typical Chinese website and you will know. -

FYI, I think spore Sph has bought some significant amount of share in TOM.com which is from china. If they are not creative then why Sph care to step into this business???
