Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy causes more pain and suffering than the cancer itself, and has low permanent success rate. Most people (if they knew fully what they would be going through under chemo and radiation), would rather die peacefully of the cancer than go for chemo and radiation treatment.Originally posted by wahomy:Hi Just got this news that my auntie got Cancer - should be critcal stage.

Patrick Quillin, Ph.D., R.D., C.N.S., is director of nutrition for Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Okla., and author of Beating Cancer With Nutrition by Nutrition Times Press in 1998. Dr Joseph Mercola's website, http://www.mercola.com presented his article published in April 2000 Issue, Nutrition Science News.
A female patient in her 50s, with lung cancer, came to our clinic, having been given a death sentence by her Florida oncologist. She was cooperative and understood the connection between nutrition and cancer. She changed her diet considerably, leaving out 90 percent of the sugar she used to eat. She found that wheat bread and oat cereal now had their own wild sweetness, even without added sugar. With appropriately restrained medical therapy -- including high-dose radiation targeted to tumor sites and fractionated chemotherapy, a technique that distributes the normal one large weekly chemo dose into a 60-hour infusion lasting days -- a good attitude and an optimal nutrition program, she beat her terminal lung cancer. I saw her the other day, five years later and still disease-free, probably looking better than the doctor who told her there was no hope.

Do you know what you are talking here?Originally posted by ShutterBug:Do you know that we all have cancer cells in our body?
It's what triggers them to become life threatening.
Stressful lifestyle is number one besides smoking.

I don't think smoking contributes fully to cancer. Remember those ah pek who have been smoking for over 50+ years, most of them did not have cancer.
I believe that there are plenty of components that trigger cancer growth. No. one is probably the preservates and chemical compound in our drinks and food.
Also, you cannot forget inheritance. If your grandparents had cancer, most probably one of the off-springs might get it also.

You seem to be on the right track. Of course, coupled with other treatments and lifestyle changes, miracle can happen before your eyes.Originally posted by grandeur:Maybe she can practice full vegetarian for a year to see how.
