  wow .just saw them at gang hui square .xu jia hui .shanghai. they are very special .maybe a family .the man and boy wear normal clothes .but that woman wear strange clothes ,i guess it must be their tradional style .very dark skin .(no other mean ).are they tamil ?
  india ppl .tell me pls .does ur lady wear those clothes in day life ? 3Q

  It is the Sari you are mentioning to. Yes it is the traditional dress of women in India. Not the younger generation. But after marriage they switch over to the Sari. In certain parts of India the dress style changes. The Sari is worn by almost all Indian's irrespective of Religion. Nowadays with the advent of stringent Islamic beliefs, some of the Muslim women are wearing the Burqa.
