Bit torrent is a p2p of a new generation.
Step 1: Jack has a file on his desktop. He creat a tracker for it.
Step 2: He post this tracker file online, while adding the linked file to the seeding list
Step 3: You go download this tracker file
Step 4: You open this file with Bit torrent clients, let say Azureus
Step 5: Azureus brought you into a pool where you can download directly from Jack's computer
Step 6: When you are downloading, you must also upload for others to download, if not your download speed will be affected
Step 7: As more people download, more people will upload, and therefore the server broadwith will increase infinately. -
