  i went to check uob page... and i saw dis junior acc...u get to enjoy an atm card with nets n plus facilities...is dat great for my age? anyone can explain dat for me? can i go online to purchase stuff?

  i haven't read but if a card has only ATM+NETS+PLUS, u cannot use it online. u're confined to ATM's and POS purchases. u have no 16-digit number and expiry date to key in in the first place.

  Not much merchants are using it. I think eNETS will have the same death as Cashcard Purchases with CashCard Reader in the past. Now most people owe a Debit Card at least, which allows online purchases.

  I'm not sure about up to 21 but the initial $100 deposit can be withdrawn once you've received the card.

  if i'm not wrong it means you dont have to pay any annual fees from age 16-21.
  
  after 21, you'll need to pay the annual fees, unless u meet the total expenditure required.

  for privacy/personal reasons, is it possible to request the bank to withhold the debit card at the bank branch until i personally go and collect it?

  Basically, U can request for HFC (Hold For Collection).
  Call up the Bank's Hotline and check if ur card is already embossed / ready. Let them know u wish to do self-collection. U may then have to go down to the Card Centre to collect, along with ur NRIC as proof of ID.
  I would not advise collecting the card from the branch as there's a possibility of delay n loss of card when the card is being transferred internally from Card Centre to the Branch.
  Call the 24 hotline friendly line of the Bank. They will be able to provide the necessary assistance.
