NOKIA 6280 bugs

firmware version : 3.60
bug :
1. signal shows full, but in fact it's not full and u can neither sms nor call nor received call
2. restart by itself, example :surfing the net
anyone has encountered the same problem or other problems, pls post it here. -
i wanted to get n6280
now i want to get n80 -

If you prefer S60, then get n70 or n80. But as always the latest ur phone, the more bugs you'd encounter...

my fren got the n80 bout a mth back. the camela not bad. vry fast reaction n pretty clear for nightshots

if im not wrng. nokia 3 series n 6 series r always full of bugs. and al their 1st gen for all models also the same. yet people wana buy n use their phones...

coz nokia always release 3 and 6 series, for 8 series it's very expensive. not many ppl can afford it.
bug# 3: when talking on the phone, suddenly there's a beeep sound that never stops! that results that the conversation between 2 parties get cut off.. and the phone is still on the line! pressing any of the buttons do not help except on/off button -

the few ppl i know using n6280 not much complaints except the slide a bit loose....... -

The restarting problem can be slove by sending to nokia aservice center . i got mine fixed .
only problem i have now is a bright pixel . does nokia service that also ? -

I think such pixel problem they will repair. But your phone will need to be hospitalised for a week or so.

my phone need to send for repair for 1 month for a dead pixel ??
that time my phone only sent for 3 days repair , but just a dead pixel problem i paisei take go repair lei ..
anyone sent their phone for service for a dead / bright pixel before ?? -

OK i go twice this month liao , i think they see me also sian 1/2 i still can recognise some of their face . by the way mine is bright pixel problem ..

6280 is the most buggy phone ever in recent nokia history... bright pixel? it's, surprisingly, a software problem. other problems (not the full list) includes:
1. while u're on a call, second call comes in, u cannot hear anything until u reject or answer the second line
2. music player returns to standby mode or phone restarts after 10 mins of playing
3. when taking pics, camera shows a few red pixels, but they are not part of the pic itself
and still got a lot a lot.... phone keep restarting on its own is bad enough...
and yes, some complain the slider gets loose....
interestingly, its sister 6270 is working well, but no 3G, no front camera...
