like these past few days... heavy storm like that.... n u need to walk in the open... wif umbrella of course... Can u take out your shoes n fold up your trousers... n walk barefoot? (so the shoes won't get wet and trousers/jeans won't be so soaked)...

Last time i did that, but is quite dangerous loh you might accidentally step on glass or something than end up at clinic , waste of money man.

Remember, Singapore has very high rates of lightning strikes. Don't test your luck! Do not do the following in a thunderstorm:
>> Walk in open with umbrella - with or without footwear
>> Fishing with a fishing rod
>> Stand near a tree or street lamp
>> Fly a kite - (DUH)
>> Play football (DUH)
>> Swim in pool or beach lagoon (electric current disperse in water unpredictably)
>> Operate a PC - you won't die, your PC will -

Buy a Belkin SurgeMaster, it costs somewhere around $45-$60, but it's worth the investment.
Even when your flat's circuit breaker trips, one micro second of exposure to tenths of thousands of volts, will fry whatever is in your PC casing.
