Laptop Not Functioning When I Press "On" Button?

Pls Help..Dono why today when i press the "On" button on my laptop, nothing happen..screen blank, fan not moving,no sound at all

I term this as the "shade343 syndrome".
A trip to jurong should fix it. -
Battery in? Power plugged? Button spoil?
Any symptoms of it failing during your previous use?
Pray that you didn't accidentally fry it -
a trip to the service centre
and lotsa prayers ur data still intact -

Toshiba got this fan reliability issue on their laptops they cannot seem to resolve, usually heng suay thing, but it looks like you suay.
