if a cabinet minister loses in the elections to an opposition - then yes. he will be unseated and lose his post as well.
for EXAMPLE, if lee hsien long and his team loses AMK GRC, he will be unseated and will no longer be the PM.
thereafter, the government will decide on a new PM to take his place. who forms the government will be who has the majority of the seats. As of now, PAP has 37 seats but is 6 seats short but it is likely they will win enough seats to become the government and thus the replacement PM will [LIKELY] be a PAP member.
Also, the opposition revealed that the government's plan is to finish ALL lift upgrading by 2010. It is only a matter of when and who gets upgraded first so it does not matter if the opposition or the PA -
