I want to say something on the 1988 pple. Why is it that at their batch den can go for class 3 license at the age of 21?
I feel that 1988 pple really piss many off, cause of the immaturity and many other factors are not taught well at all, n thus the govt doesnt allow them to go for class 3 license incase they anyhow bang other pple's car, or go car-racing whatsoever.
*Most immaturity* starts from 1988 batches onwards.

I have one MAJOR rant abt Sporean guys: they are, frankly, not the best-looking in the world. Even a couple of Caucasian friends commented on that when they visit Spore...heh.
And they are GENERALLY ungentlemanly. How many times have we seen men pushing aside women just to get seats on the MRT? Or those who verbally abuse girlfriends in public? And some are quite pampered...still depending on mummy and daddy even when they are 30, and hold on to good jobs.
Sporean women have been praised by foreigners (relationship expert Allan Pease, and world-renowned designers even) to be- apparently- beautiful, independent, educated.
I guess what causes us to rant abt Sporean men is maybe coz we women have evolved over time, but men dont seem to.
Just being frank here, I'm sure you manly Sporean men can take a little bit of strong opinion from me.
To be fair, we Sporean women can be a little demanding and have high standards- but that doesnt change the fact that Sporean men are also flawed. -

i think maybe she nv study GP or forgot what she learnt in GP... making sweeping statements with no supporting evidence are no-no... when she commented that sg guys r like that it is most probably that she had experienced events or witnessed actions that involved sg guys behaving in that particular manner mentioned. However, such conclusions are narrow because 1stly, the behaviour of the guys she saw at the places she went are not representative of the general population. The reason is simple she cannot be observing every single guy in singapore so how to conclude sg guys are like that? Although non-representative, such thoughts stem from the fact that she always observe the same behaviour on the sg guys she saw. Have she ask herself why? Maybe because most guys freq K-pool r lik that? Is your circle of male friends really large enough to make such conclusions? Or is it your personality attracts such type of sg guys to become your friends? I hope the threadstarter can think more critically with an analytical mind.

for one who has lived in several cities, i can only say you'll be surprised to find that at the end of the day, singaporean guys are actually one of the sweetest, nicest and caring people. i can bet on you not believing me, but that's my opinion anyways.

This is not "Nature" or "SCIENCE" magazine... what I mean is that in this place we deal more with "perceptions" rather than "accuracy."
There is this perception about sg guys which had been brought up by the thread starter.
You can then say: "My perception is not the same as yours." Or you can even cite impressive authoritative references to debunk the perception. Back up what you say instead of just saying it.
What you cannot do is "flame." That is to say, you post nasty things about the thread starter without any comment or defense of your position.
Actually you can flame all you want but understand that nobody will pay you any attention and any "effect" you think your post has is just in your own head. -
