I heard my friends living in the East side that the Malay population there are higher than the national average and he told me that at least 25% of the population in Eastern Singapore. Is it the fact that the Malay population here are more concentrated on the East side?
Not really. HDB has set limits on the no of malays living per building, per area so it will average out.
I think geylang and woodlands have the most malays.
Tampines is the largest housing estate fyi.
tampines has noticeably more malays. Geylang Serai, yishun, Marsiling also
althought the race quota, u also need to see the quota.. its not consistent like chinese 60%, monority race 40% etc for all estates.
Woodlands got a lot ma?
Don't really see a lot around.
