Taiwan is becoming so "democratic" that their mps fight in parliament, have corruption, surf porn in office (latest news). Riots are in the country as well. If the people of Singapore wants such a "democratic" country as well, then they have to be able to accept the consiquences it brings upon.
I am not saying PAP should be all that is left. There should be oppositions. But remove PAP and leave everything to oppositions and see. They just lack the ability to run the system as well as what Singapore now is. -

Our growth have stagnated and we don't have fresh ideas because most of their new members are simply riding on the coat tails of Lee Kuan Yew - who ain't that great to be honest ever since he became this awful alienated dictator who insists he's right in almost everything when he isn't. However, reverse the thinking. Instead of thinking: What has PAP done for us?
Try thinking: What has PAP not done.
Look at counties in the region with regular political changes. Compare them with themselves in 1990. How has their economy rise and drop and drop. What did their government do to lead to this. Did PAP do them?
Once again, I am not saying PAP is good or what. In fact i think a change in government is very important for Singapore's future, but can the present oppositions really fit into this? -
