Sg never had minimum wage system mah ... if have, regardless of local or foreign labourers, should be paid minimum wage. -

I know they are paid based on type..country of origin and other etc
Any employee when engaging foreigner labourer must paid for their lodging, food, washing and medical (if welfare enough) rest days a waste to them.
Calculate it.
What they do?
When they required to go back?
Is it cheap to engage a foreigner labourer? Have we pointed a gun to ask them here??

Note: All figures are indicatives only..however you are encouraged to find out detail accordingly. Do not use this to the press.
Since no one is answering..I give you the possible answer then
For a foreigner labour, a levy will be paid above $100..or more..
Each labour will be given a lodging = $300 divided by number of worker (average = 4) = $75 per head.
Washing and lodging = 320 per month
Average pay to labour is about = $40 per day = 30*40 = $1200
Working hours = 12 hours average
No medical / no this no that..can hold other part time.
Hence, average to pay for an foreigner worker, the amount is
$100 + $75 + $320 + $1200 = $1,695 = $56.5 per day.
Hence if you are earning $50 and below per day..can you be better than a foreigner labourer...ask yourself..
If you are earning $100 per day...you are considered as a class above foreigner labourer only. My answer that how much a foreigner labourer should be paid a day is
$3 per day = $90 per month take it or leave it. We thank our government for encouraging cheap labour..let us help to slave them then.
The new spending is
$100 + $75 + $50 + $90 = $315 per month
Since they loved singapore so much..let us offer a chance for them to serve us singaporean.
This is what a chinese operator get in china..Hence labour should be considered well treated. -

Lodging, food, washing and medical are not demanded to high standard by many foreign workers. They go easy on all these, not like Singaporeans. Also, you do not need to pay them CPF, that saves LOTS of money.
If Singaporeans were to work as a construction worker, they will start complaining if their work held them back for lunch, worksite hygiene not good,
must work OT every week, etc etc. Foreign workers do not complain about this, they are happy to be given a chance to work here so they will not give their employer problems.
I have this friend who own a construction company. He always tell me that foreign workers are humble and willing to learn. Singaporean worker are expensive and yet proud most of the time. They sterotype foreign workers in worksite.
Btw, just how many Singaporeans would be willing to work as cleaners and construction workers. So please appreciate the foreign help you get and don't treat them like dirt. -

Think properly before answering...if you needed to pay for housing here, children education, medical fee, utilities , town council fee etc..tell me how much you will be left with..if your wife have to look after the children so more..You work it out and tell the rest..

And they must be in desperate need of money, if not why would they travel so far to the unknown to work? Talk about all your fees and etc. Can compare like this meh? Then why don't you go on and compare living standards.
Yes you pay for housing, thats why you live in much better house compared to them.
You pay for children education. So go on and compare your child's education environment and theirs. See the difference?
Medical fees. While they have employer, you have CPF funds and some government fund for being Singaporean
Utilities. Do they use computers and air-con? If not of course pay less. THINK
Town council fee. Do they have people wash their corridors for them? Clean rubbish? Organise activities on weekends?
You are paying for what you get. They don't get all these comfort as you did, so naturally you pay more. And if paying more makes you complain, then you are like wanting to keep the cake and also eat it. -

You can outsource it to CAM / programmer depended on the facilities available in the firm. Jig and fixtures must be designed to suit the product if in bulk.
CNC you will need to recalibrate you tooling periodically due to wear and tear.
The rest will be a loader and measuring equipment.
If your machining is piece that..then CAM may be easier. Programming is no that differicult to outsource. It's time to change in order to survive..esle just matter of time before you vanished..from the industrial.
