Bali what a beautiful heaven

Don't expect picture...I been to Bali twice..but never go there for long time...Any one went there recently can tell us if the place is still a heaven..can show picture will be good. Can go holiday with the progress package given by our government..relax a few days.. -
Yaya, still a nice place. Abit more quiet becuase of fewer tourists and abit cheaper because of the discounts. I took some photos there.

How was the beach side? Still the same or very difference..I spend around $2000 each trip last round..good food good sleep and good shop..What is the price now? When was your last trip? I think if your last trip was prior to the bomb(s), you will find the current price cheaper than last time. -
That place is heavenly, I tell you.
The temples are beautiful, the people are nice...
You should see the volcanoes! They have resturants with windows where you can see the entire volcano right in front of you!
Just that the seafood sucks.
Oh yah, they now sell t-shirts with the words "F*CK Terrorist-Bali Black 12th October"
Only without censorship.
Also got ang moh chicks sunbathing topless on the beach. Insensitive red hairs! -
I went to Bali but it was long ago.
Try visiting the Kuta Beach. According to my friend's experience, the sand is white and soft. The waves are simply great for surfing. That's why you see so many surfers visiting Bali. Also, You may see some topless chicks(mostly ang moh) sunbathing like no one's business.
Oh and, try to stay in HardRock cafe hotel or Nikko hotel. 5 starts hotel which brings you complete satisfaction. HardRock cafe has clubs and nice cafes nearby while Nikko hotel has around 7 swimming pools. Sounds tempting huh?

try bintan, its less commercialised den bali. and cheaper
bali is to cut the aussies' head. the last time i went bintan it was damn quiet (maybe i went during the off peak). stayed at Angsana and had the beach to me and my gf all by ourselves in the late morning. heavenly -
Yaya, town area huh....actually that's not the main attraction of Bali. The capital city is Denpasar and there is nothing much there, just like a normal town. You can still go there take a look at the museums, architecture/ city-sightseeing etc.
But the main tourist areas are better. Better view, better amenities, more souvenir shops, galleries, restaurants, etc, and more attraction like beach or mountain or nature. More geared towards tourism. If you go to capital Denpasar, you will see all sorts of non-tourism town aspect, like usual.
Bintan is nice I guess. I've never been there. But Bintan wont have this:

Now in Batam there is a development to build a hotel/ resort resembling Bali, they will have Bali-style architecture and it will be marketed as Bali 1 hour from Singapore. Cheap cheap.
But I dont think it will be as good as Bali.
Btw I like the Kintamani dogs. They are Bali native dogs, white coat. Can be seen in mountains. Cute. You all also like? -

Bali ROCKS! i went there a few months after the first bombing, stayed at Kuta paradiso, near the Legian shopping area...Kuta beach is beautiful, white sandy beach and clear blue water...
but if you want to buy woodcrafts, be sure not to buy from those specialty shops...we saw a wooden carving resembling jiang tai gong fishing was selling at about S$400 at the shop, and at the top of the volcano, desperate hawkers were willing to let go at S$6 after bargaining from the initial S$150... -
