  do they accept anything that is workable?
  do they buy the item immediately or put in in their shop until some1 buys ur product?

  by right is yes for most electronics, appliances, cd/vcd/dvd etc, they buy immediately..

  Cash Convertors generally accept everything other than
  - Clothings
  - Dismantled Computer Part
  - Industrial Machines (Except Power Hand Tools)
  - Furniture
  - Non-Original CDs / VCDs / DVDs
  - Fridge / Washing Machines / Dryers
