television tuning...

  i plugged my tv into my new house, all the channels are crisply clear except channel 8.
  
  any suggestions to solve?

  happens sometimes
  esp when stormy weather
  
  have to go to ur rooftop to adjust the antenna

  assuming it's your TV's problem, you can do a fine tune even your TV channels are already tuned. As for how to do it, almost every TV set is different, so you may need to find the manual and try it yourself.
  
  assuming it's the problem with the antenna that you share with other neighbours in your same HDB block. Check with your neighbour when Chan8 on your TV is not clear, if they face the same problem as you, then you may need to complain to town council like FireIce said.
  
  if fine tunning your TV doesnt help, and your neighbours are not having the same problem, perhaps there's something wrong with the conncetion point or the wires you using. Maybe some wires insdie doesnt contact well, or some wires are slightly contacted to each other but they are not suppose to be contacted.

  If I'm not wrong, all HDB flats TV Box are locked nowadays. Maybe can do manual tuning on the TV.
