Anybody knows which phone card is good for calling Canada from Sinagpore?
Phoenix is very expensive - $10 for 71 minutes...
in australia my Daybreak card was about $1.50 for 30 minutes... but no daybreak card here...
HELP! -

or best, ask your friend to call you from there.
there got so much more calling cards that is crazily cheap. but he/she should becareful of their financial stability.. best is he/she buy abit at a time.
because my friend ever lost $150 when the card company shut down. -
001: $0.39 (25 mins for $10)
013: $0.34 (29 mins for $10)
019: $0.19 (52 mins for $10) -
If the call is really that important, costs does not matter.

It is SO MUCH cheaper for me to call from Toronto to S'pore that NOBODY calls me!!!
I am the one doing the calling. Only 4 Canadian cents per minute.

i used both my sg & canadian lines here.. i'm using a call back system which saves me alotwhen i call my gf back in sg..
check this website out.. http://epic.erafflesc.com/ . so u only pay for your idd if your in-coming calls r free.. msg me if u need the contacts in sg.. it's 7cents/min from sg to canada. -
56k is fine ... VOIPs are carried over UDP, instead of TCP, so 56k is still okay, unless there's upstream congestion as well ... then you'll have to suck thumb ...Originally posted by kaobeikaobu:some parts of other countries only have 56k...

and skype also offers internet to phone that you can use to call land lines as well .... PC-to-PC is free .... PC-to-phone is not ...

for those who may be interested, i found 'U1 International Calling Card' which gives 3 hours+ talk time for a $10 card which is sold at $9.
this is much better than Phoenix Card which gives you oly 71 minutes for a $10 card sold at $9.
