New mega production which traces the tribulation of the rich Jia Family, which owns the highly profitable Jin Le chain of restaurants. It's the usual corporate struggle and divded family problems, but so far seem pretty good.
Large cast which spans A-listers like Fann Wong, Edmund Chen, Chen Hanwei, veteran kung-fu artist Zheng Pei Pei ( previously seen on Ch U Yang Family Generals serial), Aileen Tan, Huang Wenyong, Huang Yiliang, Lin Meijiao and many interesting up-and-coming new faces like Felicia Chin, Jessica Liu (Ruan Mian Mian of Tong Xin Yuan), Julian Hee and Candyce Toh Hui ping (Project superstar).
From the 1st episode, seen pretty good scenery shot in Australia, many shots of luxurious restaurants, offices and the huge mansion of the Jia Family. Pretty interesting as Mediacorp has not produced such serial in a long time and the huge cast of both veterans and fresh faces is engaging. Hopefully, the tight storyline and good characterization continues as the serial develops and it does not turn out like Tong Xin Yuan. -

she seems to be very good at such roles -
oh i jus felt that Aileen role was the only thing i didn't quite like... she seems to be repeating such roles (i.e self-centred, hot tempered) too often... And her character appears "bad" from the moment she appeared... it would be more interesting if she appears to be somewhat subdued/ restrained initially, but gradually shows her temper only at home and to her husband
feel mediacorp script seems to lack in-depth characterization very often... their characters are mostly strictly black and white the moment they appear.. hmm... if u watch somethk like TVB War and Beauty, u prob can an idea what i mean

i saw part of yesterday esipode, i think this chen zhi cai aka Edmund Chen really ׬µ½ (zhuan dao).. got fann wong and that sexy girl (dunno who is she)
but he also too much lah... wife so pretty still go out and hu gao... -
The kind of story is so old lor... simply a family business and fight among siblings over the money... sian beh... mediacorp no idea liao lah ... even the drama before this is a copy from '24' lo... saded

well, despite all the negative comments i still thought the show was quite good. looking forward to tonight's episode. Wonder whose house that house belong to the one showed on the 1st episode. the house is like SUPER big.
