Issues about straightening/rebonding hair

I have this questions for you all guys to help me.
i ask you all: What are the disadvantages and advantages of straightening/rebonding hair?
Is straightening hair better or rebonding hair better?
I have seen people rebond their hair but the outcome isn't very good. Yes, after they rebond, their hair would look much nicer but after 3 months and onwards, the hair starting to become normal again. The ends at the hair are not very nice.
What are the costs of straightening/rebonding hair?
Which one is much more expensive?
Care to give me all your views and opinions. Thanks.

but in malaysia, they charge you depending how long is your hair.
i always finding equiment that can straighten hair. -

but i would agree that after rebonding, you only require minimum maintenance of your hair.. how convenient..
think you gotta go to a trusted hair salon to do it.. if they are skillful, your hair regrowth will not look as frizzy and wiry like some ladies i saw on the street.. -
after rebond liao your hair will be straight and nice for a couple of days
after tt will be very dry
have to go for treatment regularly or touch-up the rebond... -
but i heard my sis says that straightening is better. i mean those kind of permanent straightening de. if goo straightening, hw long wuld it last?

straightening is temp........can last oni a few weeks......

They say rebonding can last up to a year, but I find it quite bu||sh|t.
My hairdresser also tell me dye hair less damaging than rebonding. -
rebond can last 6mths very good liao......

substaining endless supply of treatment shampoo and conditions is enuff to kill...
hair loss also another problem... -

straightening looks more natural, less damaging
rebonding is poker straight, longer lasting, but more damaging.
of cos e latter is more expensive
if the rebond outcome is not good, they can always go back and redo it again. of cos, it will have more damaged done...
costs depends on the length of hair. so prob u have to go ard n compare urself.
last time i did was 180bucks at kimage. but my hair is v long...tat time they had promotion...or it wld have cost e max: 230bucks. well, i think its money quite well spent, since it lasted me v long...
it lasted me forever! cos i have quite straight hair to start w...min. rebonding shld last 6mths (curly or wavy based hair). straight hair can last 1year.
hairends started to become more dry as time passes, more than 6mths...
it also depends on how u take care..i wash w hair mask everyday (loreal, quite cheap...jus some 20bucks and lasted me for more than 6mths)
liked e effect, cos i no longer have to comb my hair....even after i bathe, wake or have trainings (play sports). less tangles, more shiny, better texture.
PS: varies from individuals.
if u are afraid that it will look too fake, then ask the hairstylist to do it a bit further from e scalp. so tat at least wont look so flat. -

No matter how much you straighten your hair, when it grows out it will still be curly (if it was). You can change the hair that has already grown out but you can't change the way your body works.
Don't straighten lah. Will end up looking like any other girl on the street.

so that means rebonding is better then straightening. but then besides usin hair mask, advertisments also got show that pantent is also a good choice of shampoo. is it true? i want to go rebond because my hair is damn frizzy and when i wake up, i would like a lion. my hair is natural frizzy so i thought of doing rebod, but then no money. now i got money, so i want to go and do.

it has provitamin B5 which is good for ur hair...
in fact, any shampoo tat has it is good..if u look under e ingredients list, u shld see something like: d-panthenol, d-pantothenyl alcohol, pantothenol
pro-v5 has been known to improve texture n moisture of skin cells. since hair is also made up of keratin, pro-v5 is used as one of e ingredients for improved hair texture. -
besides rebonding, maybe u can cut a hairstyle tt is suited for wavy/curly hair.....
it makes u look more natural

i try to cut alot of patterns but nothing works out, so i might as well rebond!! haizz. because my hair is not that kind of curly, its very dry, frizzy. mine is not curly, it is just.. haizz. dont know what to say about them.

BUY THE STRAIGHTENING IRON!
It's temporary, not damaging if not used every few hours and natural-looking. Although it won't necessarily make the hair super duper flat.

but then i heard that if you buy that straightening iron, you also need hair cream to prevent damages done to the hair. if you dont have the cream, the hair will be even worse.

Is it? Then buy the Gatsby or L'oreal one, their gels and other products are superb.
