  I have tried it at my friends house it quite interesting, having the water bubbling.
  
  I think arab street have such mini bar for sheesha smoking. I will get the details.

  14 bucks...dunno why but i always see a lot of damned kids there...maybe i should start calling 999 and ask them to raid boat quay more often to keep the place kid-free.

  Al Majlis aka Cafe le Caire at Arab Street. $12 if you wanna smoke sheesha. Serve middle-eastern food also. Not bad..

  I love the ambience at Samar Cafe, Arab Street. I walked in there,and they were playing nice, dance-able Arab tunes and their food is not bad too.
  
  All in all, the ambience was great-lah. You can slack & chill there till the cows come home Like being transported to another country or smth.

  The restaurant you speak off which is opposite JB Danga Bay I believe is 'Singgah Selalu Restaurant' right? They serve sheesha also yeah. And yeah sheesha is legal in Singapore. Owner of Al Majlis aka Cafe le Caire was the guy who introduced sheesha to Singapore. Samar I heard is good but so is Al Majlis. So come on and try! Yeah these places are a good place for people to chill around especially after or before clubbing. Don't know about Samar but Al Majlis is open from 10am until 3.30 am mon to sun.

  Most at Arab street don not serve alchohol. If you ppl want. can go clarke quay.

  read my above post. its 14 bucks at sahara for sheesha. alcohol is served(though the prices are *^*&*^%$&%) i think its owned by some ang moh footballer if im not wrong.

  been there once. Din noe bout the price cos i'm not paying.. Not much ppl go there i only like the cosy seats at the back.
