uni hostels

  hi all! anyone who currently staying in their hostel/have stayed in hostels durin their uni days b4..? got several queries...
  
  1) how big is the room? is it spacious? or very cramp..?
  2) whats inside a standard rm? bed, cupboard and desk only ah..?
  3) what stuff need to bring there ah? besides yr own clothes and toiletries... bedsheet, pillow and blankie need?
  4) is there a curfew when u report back to the hostel? if there is.. what time is it?

  cramp/ not big
  
  bed, cupboard, desk maybe got shelf on walls but not much also.
  
  yupz clothes toiletries, tv what every. got washing machine though
  
  bed sheet pillow blanket need
  
  no curfew but as usual noise cap at 11.

  about 3room flat bedroom size or slightly smaller
  comes with a single bed, a desk, a cupboard
  free ghost in the cupboard
  
  either attached bathroom or common bathroom

  eh my seniors im very close to stay hostel for 1 sem dun wan to stay oredi.. they discourage me fr staying leh.. but the travelling distance is damn long man.. so im planning to apply for 1 sem after that see how lor..

  i noe the old and new sheares hall. it comes with one single bed, study table, cupboards and shelves on top. everything else is communal.
  
  no curfew but u have to have dinner at the hall for dunno how many days a week or something de.
  
  if u're going PGP (the biggest), it's quite stuffy there as it is built on a valley.

  tamago i was planning ta apply fer pgp. the pictures are so pretty! there're 3 types of rms.. one got attached bathroom and aircon.. 2nd one comes with only a washbasin.. and 3rd one nth.. hahaha.. i taking the 2nd one.. 1st one too exp..

  pgp can get very stuffy at times, while at eusoff and temasek got sea breeze. sheares and raffles is closest to civilisation, pgp furthest....

  pay more
