If AMK is merely lost, PAP will select a new PM.
That's how the Westminster system works. -
If the oppositions win all the seats (which it wouldn't), there isn't a party with overwhelming majority. Becoz the oppositions are also all different parties.
So it will have to depend on who wanna ally with who.
Since PAP has the most number of seats even if the opposition parties win all the seats, it would make them the best party to ally with. Becoz whoever they ally with will form the governing party. So in that case, PAP will STILL be in power even if all the opposition wins. -
