As I have told you before, God exists out of this "realm".
He exists beyond any boundary of logic or science on this earth.
So imagine this: We are all living inside a fortified city, with walls surrounding it.
Within those walls are the philosophies of science, and logic, including the "eveything must have a beggining" theory. Including the "cause and effect" theory too.
God is like the giant who resides outside the city and built it.
Or a better analogy would be that we are a computer program that God made. In the program he wrote the computer script and developed it. He programmed the software in such a way that things would happen like how they are now and that is what we now call SCIENCE.
No one. Like I said, no one.Originally posted by casino_king:So God built the "fortified city" and the "computer script and developed it." Who built God and wrote the God script?
Then how did God come into existence?Originally posted by gr2012:No one. Like I said, no one.
If God can be "there all along" why can't the universe be "there all along?"Originally posted by gr2012:He was there all along.
Made what that way?Originally posted by gr2012:Cos he made it that way. This is fun.
1. If God is indeed the creator of all living things, then all things here should submit to His power unquestioningly. Like the vessels produced by a potter, they should remain without any individuality of their own. If that is so, how can there be an opportunity for any one to practice virtue?
2. If this world is indeed created by God, then there should be no sorrow or calamity or evil in this world, for all deeds, both pure and impure, must come from Him.
3. If it is not so, then there must be some other cause besides God which is behind Him, in which case He would not be self-existent.
4. It is not convincing that the Absolute has created us, because that which is absolute cannot be a cause. All things here arise from different causes. Then can we can say that the Absolute is the cause of all things alike? If the Absolute is pervading them, then certainly It is not their creator.
5. If we consider the Self as the maker, why did it not make things pleasant? Why and how should it create so much sorrow and suffering for itself?
6. It is neither God nor the self nor some causeless chance which creates us. It is our our deeds which produce both good and bad results according to the law of causation.
7. We should therefore "abandon the heresy of worshipping God and of praying to him. We should stops all speculation and vain talk about such matters and practice good so that good may result from our good deeds.

Then how did we come about?
When the Buddha was asked how the world started, he kept silent. In the religion of Buddhism we donÂ’t have a first cause, instead we have a never ending circle of birth and death. In this world and in all worlds, there are many beginnings and ends. The model of life used in Buddhism has no starting place... It just keeps going and going.

So how is this relevant to the discussion?Originally posted by gr2012:One thing to note: There cannot be LOVE and PEACE without HATE and WAR.

NO ONE, can answer this question.

No need to explain why you type... we are all typing if you didn't notice...Originally posted by DeepSpace:For everything there must be a beginning. This also apply to the creation of the universe. We won't truely know who the Creator or none unless we die and return to the state of origin if there is one.The thing is, if we return to the state of origin, would we even know that? Same like when we come from an origin, we wouldn't know that too. But if we are not suppose to know whether we came from an origin or not, why am i typing this? Of course, these are just theories and intelligent guesses.
So what does?Originally posted by gr2012:The logic of the beggining and the end does not apply to God. He created the logic, and so you cannot use that same logic to define him. He is outside of the logic, get it?
He is outside this realm of understanding which we are in and that he created.
