yeh in fact i have more respect for sales engineers in the industrial sector. sales engineer not only require the candidate with the ability to sell the service / product but after sale service too! adn when customers enquire about any issues with the product u must have some technical knowledge to access the problem first before u trigger the neccesssary resources and/ or personnel to assist you if need to.Originally posted by FireIce:this is consumer sales, not corporate sales -
Thick skinned, must be thick skinned. Die die must be thick skinned. Even meeting the most unreasonable customers, you still have to act like its part of your job, because it is. If you're not prepared to suck up, forget it you're not up to it.
