  single caucasians coming to singapore......makes me wonder.....are all single guys at your age queer???? i have heard many single caucasians in singapore.........be it american......belguim......australian.........majority are queer..........

  2) travelling to sing, not bangkok -- for good reason -- although I love Thailand. Just never been to Sing. Doing a quick trip to your city to check it out.

  I can handle Singlish ... it's all good. Do you even realize how many languages are spoken in Los Angeles? Thai Town is directly underneath the Hollywood sign, and the chinese practically built Caifornia.

Just brave yourself for the culture shock of learning the powers-that-be in this part of the world are a far cry from combining even the worst aspects of the Republicans and Democrats though!
  
  Well, if you're here for the fun, I don't suppose you need to steer too far from your hotel, given Orchard Road will probably cater to all your reading(yeah, check out Kinokuniya and Borders - 2 of the biggest bookstores with the wiedest varieties in Singapore), dining(enough variety to keep you occupied I suppose), shopping and partying needs.
