  If you wanna get the feel of life here, get up early in the morning, travel by MRT (subway) to any residential heartland, seat yourself at any MRT (subway) station where you can see our locals going off to work, and just watch.
  
  Try greeting say around 20 of them or more, and count how many actually smiles back at you and greet too.
  
  You will then get the feel of life here.

  reminds of of two foreigners who wanted to take the cab back to their hotel...lolz...ask me where is the nearest taxi stand...where there were loads of taxi on the road around the area in the middle of the night...
