Fire at Jurong Island?

  Thick smoke can be seen while I'm on my way back from work. As the train was heading towards clementi, from far ( location: Jur Island if I'm not wrong ) thick smoke can be seen.
  
  Now time is 9pm and looking out from my block towards the western part of Sg, the sky is red bright! I'll try ti post a video clips if I can to prove it.

  i saw tat many times liao... when I am in jurong east MRT.. the sky near the jurong island is always red most of the time.. but no report of fire leh... maybe they doing some burning projects there?

  Well, I live at JE, and i can tell you it burns almost every other night
  
  Something like those industrial places are burning off byproducts of stuff they dont want

  dont know... as laurence had mentioned, maybe after they finish buring their byproducts they will stop??

  they only need to 'burn' for certain days only, if i'm not wrong.
  
  i think it's an effect of fractional distillation, at the top of the fractional chamber.... but me not sure...

  I also think it's the fractional distillation for oil. That's the only main cause I think

  yeah, suddenly i remember why liao....
  
  cos there must be a hole for the vapourised oil to come out and exhausted... and vapourised oil meets oxygen meets enough temperature equals fire... so if it becomes hot enough it will become free gas stove until the distillation process has stopped....

  I rarely seen the sky glows like mount doom as seen from Minas Tirith from LOTR. It was scary seeing it at 1am last night, I recorded the glowing sky down on my Handphone. My fren thought that hell was coming. And news never report anything about it. Maybe some military excercise or accident?

  u mean u saw it again today? maybe mount erapi erupted? i go check the news?

  no, mount merapi haven't erupt... it's normal to see the sky glow glow.. last time i was at yishun there also saw the sky glowing...

  It's errm glowing red, like it gets brighter then dimmer and it continues on and there is lightning somemore at yesterday night really scary lor, I stay near serangoon BTW.

  I haven't been looking into the sky at night every since I'm discharged from hospital. Cause got too sick of it. Every night in hospital I stare at the sky cause I cannot sleep due to the pain and stuffs. For 2 weeks until I'm so sick of it.
