Always LCD, plasma is too expensive and once the pixels are spoilt, its done for. Further, plasma also emits more radiation.
LCD resolution quality is getting better day by day.

LCD TVs the Sony Bravia range not bad... Plasmas I would go for Pioneer or Panasonic...
One thing to note tho.. The bigger brands normally make their LCD/Plasma TCs in wide screen format.. so there isnt really a 29"
In my limited knowledge... theres.. 17" 20" 28" 32" 37" 42" 43" 50".... with the bigger sizes being in the majority... -

dont buy LCD that is not HD-ready or HDTV , coz its not gonna support future technology.. u just waste money -
actually the 2k can use to buy fairly good 26"
i dont see any 29" though
size also depend on the viewing distance.. if put in room 26" just nice... if in living room.... buy 32" ba but LCD 32" and above price get increasingly high -

and as far as i noe.. sg dun have a lot of true HD models.. oni HD ready... to watch HD telecasts u would need another convertor/upscaler of some sort

not bad la.. HD-ready TV, should be ok la... brightness and contrast is good...
got pc input somemore -
they also say Plasma TV inch-for-inch for tv size and resolution, uses up more wattage than LCD TV, so you need to pay more electrical bills for plasma...is it true?
