  my friend just bought an acer aspire laptop and there is 1 bright spot.
  
  my question is: is it exchangable? (bought on 10th may)

  thats what i thought too... but that guy insisted that only 4-5 faulty pixels is considered as a faulty LCD. that bloody black shop...

  dead pixels are common....get over it lor...but do try ur very best to get a change

  Then you tell him you go spoil 3 pixels from each of his LCDs never mind right.

  Usually, anything less than 3 they won't exchange. Unless it's one big spot.

  Bright pixel problem happens to every brand of LCD Screen. Usually it requires 3 or more before it's exchangeable thus it's advisable to check prior to purchases.
