  NTU engin is more hands-on, practical based.
  
  NUS engin is more theory-based.
  
  NUS engin is supposedly higher up the world standard than NTU engin. Unfortunately, it is also much more stressful than NTU engin.
  
  Maybe you could try posting this in Cafe Casual Redux. It's a de facto hangout spot for NUS forummites, and there are quite a number of Engin people there (yours truly included - I'm in NUS Mechanical Engin Yr 2) :
