  someone who is from the muslim community here once mentioned that it is because the pig does not have a neck so there is no halal way to kill it.( halal way of killing meaning must drain all the blood of the animal out without leaving any trace of blood to result in blood clots still inside the animal).Since there is no neck,the juagular vein is not easy to locate and from there let out the blood in one go,thus making the pig unclean since blood is deem dirty.

  I suggest you read up rather than asking about a sensitive topic. There are tons of books in libraries about Islam, written by Malays.
  
  If all else fail, you can always convert and experience yourself.
