*hongkong disneyland*

who have went there before? how is it? is it worth the visit? i'm planning
to go hongkong in august, so wanna drop by disneyland..any comments?

Me's been there... No queue now, maybe the Management has ironed out the ticket issues... Size of the Park is only 1/3 of Japan's... Transport there is via the Mickey-themed Express Train from their Hong Kong's MTR...
Lots of merchandises and souvenirs in their retail areas... Just that not much of rides incorporated in the Park... Maybe PRC Government is focusing on the Shanghai Disneyland due to open in 2008... Most of the crew members are foreigners...
Facilities are not quite up to Disney standards, that me would say as from my point of view... Ticket prices are not too much value of money... -

Depends whether you are going on a Peak or Off-Peak day, ticket prices range differently... Food is alright but be prepared to spend about $300 to $400 on souvenirs and merchandises (cos that's the amount me spent on souvenirs and clothings)... can't b compared wif the other disneys...
dun hv those thrillin rides...except one which is quite similar to the one we hv in escape....
other den dat the rest r kiddish rides...
if u r goin i will recommend the 3d effect theatre...
btw i tink the entrance tix is the cheapest out of all disneylands... -
went to tokyo & hk one...
very much prefer tokyo one....when i felt i really was in disneyland....
hk one....somehow didnt feel so at all... of all the attractions, i only find the mickey laser show most entertaining....the fireworks was fine as well...
i went on a weekday (fri if dun rem wrongly) in jan 06....not really crowded...tink at most 20 min wait if i didn't get the fastpass......wif a fastpass the wait was abt 5min....
thus, i was done wif the rides i was int in in a matter of like 2 hours....& spent the rest of the day sitting ard, combing all the stores/minicarts for merchandise... while waiting for the fireworks... -
they are facing lots of problems.
