Hey guys, Some idiot left 2 hamsters in a box at my floor stair landing, so im taking care of them,
I know that hamsters breed quite alot, so im worried abt the possibility of new borns.
They came as a pair, i believe 1 is a male n the other is a female,
1. Is it ok to seperate them? cause they been together all this time?
im worried if i do, they might die due to loneliness.

don't you have animal shelters in Singapore where they could be taken?

i had hamsters b4. i found 1 running arnd just outside my hse.
some ppl can b so idiotic to leave them outside to fend for themselves juz cos they dun wanna kp them anymore.
as for ur qn, its ok to seperate them else they may fight between themselves. -
hamster vv easy to rear one de la... buy tank or if u got extra money buy the playground tank... den buy the woodshavings change every 1 week depending on how much u put.. den food leh, buy the ready mixed seeds and stuffs, buy a drinking bottle.. kao tim..
but tell u first, hamster vv horny de... and when pregant, seperate mother and father... after give birth dont put too much wood shaving coz the baby vv tiny sometime the wood will suffocate them -

hamsters are just as happy by themselves... so you can separate them
if you have them together, they'll fight and if male and female, they'll breed like mad... -
u can seperate them.. if not they will breed many.. thn tht time how to take care of so many hamsters? and like one of them had said.. the parent will eat the child one
me also got one cute and noti hamster!
btw.. which type of hamster is yours? wat colour de? must take gd care of them hor??? -
