usually some people dun even bother to take the flyers u try to "hand" to them... and when others behind see that.. that follow suit too.. it's very hard to even finish distributing all the flyers..... -

nowadays all the postboxes are locked, so they have to go floor by floor to distribute... i get a lot of pamphlets from the real estate agents.......

That's the worst job and I hope it becomes extinct. Is a rubbish creator.
As the mailbox is locked, they distribute it at my door. If I did'nt go home for a week, my house will become a dustbin with lots of papers throwing here and there. OMG, they are trying to inform the theif that I am not at home. Because of this I am considering to move to a private apartment.
Or some distributor will stand in the middle of MRT to distribute paper. Their technique is I block your way and you have no choice but to take it. Now MRT have no dustbin, if I take from them, I will end up putting it in my bags. Soon my poor bag becomes a dustbin. -

From what I understand, mailbox distributing takes a shorter time and can cover a wider area (i.e. more blocks). Although some are locked, but there will still be some that are open.
I've seen those experienced distributor use a chopstick with a rubber band tied at one end. They will push the flyer with the rubber band end into the mail slots. That way is easier.
For door to door, i believe its paid more. And more targetted, as in every household will definitely see them whether they like it or not. -
"good" or not depends on what you look for.
Most ppl consider a job "good" when it's high paid with low stress, less work load.
For flyer distributor, the pay is sure low. But if we dont care about the pay at all, i think it's a job that's almost no stress(you may feel stressed in life cos your paid is too low, but the job itself wont give you stress), and it's not that tough. -
