Buakaw is onli 22yrs old good potential & young...won the world K1 championship in japan...Just sharing with the muaythai community here...I think our best local fighter here is tat guy steve ong or smethink from lana muaythai ..duno just my 2 cents

Hello....Buakaw is a good fighter and won the K1 Japan matches in style 2 years ago. However, he was defeated the following year. Another thing we have to remember is that K1 rules are also quite different from muaythai rules..... -

Buakaw lost to andy souwer cos his kick never fully contact at all.He got a few warning from the ref also.But from my view he still lost ,the judges is correct. Souwer punching got more clean hit.he almost lose to virgil kalakoda also.The only fighter that dont use his kicks at all.... buakaw was push to the limits.... i dun think he will win this year. Masato will become the 2006 k1 world max champion..

12 countries so what? is it evey country?you can call him the best k-1 muay thai fighter but not the muay thai fighter in the world.You are fighting under k1 rules here not the actualy muay thai rules.

Btw buakaw is the current wmc middle weight champion.he beat jomhod ...If you know who is he....under muaythai rules..
12 countries is really enough 1st Thailand -Buakaw -he dominate the middle weight class cause not many thais fighting at this weight,he himself is fighting under 63kg class in lumpinee (i think)and only rank 2nd...
2nd Holland -if you watch ramon dekker fights b4 dont need to say so much...
Holland got some of the best fighters in the world too.kraus , sowuer ,alerts ,hoost etc ect...
3rd Australia-Check out from goggle videos evolution 7(if i'm not wrong ) and you can see the different between them holding a TOURNAMENT and us.The standard is too high. Fighters went thru a night of HELL and earn the belt.Have to fight 3 bouts a night is really unimaginable....
4th Japan-Masato is going to beat buakaw this time round....
5th Russia-Got really tough Mother fckers..
6th korea i think.. not bad also
7th south africa- Kalakoda is going to ko souwer...;(
