Hello....Buakaw is a good fighter and won the K1 Japan matches in style 2 years ago. However, he was defeated the following year. Anyway, many who have watched the matches also felt that the referee-ing was a little questionable (I felt so too, but I'm not a qualified referee, so its just my amateur opinion).Originally posted by Advante_101:Buakaw is onli 22yrs old...good potential & young...won the world K1 championship in japan..http://youtube.com/watch?v=AsXFvvGJ5EY&search=muaythai ...Just sharing with the muaythai community here...I think our best local fighter here is tat guy steve ong or smethink from lana muaythai ..duno just my 2 cents
Yeah true about the referee abit fake...anyway actualli there is no top 1 fighter in muaythai...cos results are always constantly on the change...As competition are always held every weekly..monthly...perhaps dayly?? lolz..Originally posted by gentlerock:Hello....Buakaw is a good fighter and won the K1 Japan matches in style 2 years ago. Another thing we have to remember is that K1 rules are also quite different from muaythai rules.....

True true....in Bangkok alone, its actually almost daily (separated between Rajdamnern, Lumpini, Channel 7 and sometimes Rangsit stadium too).Originally posted by Advante_101:Yeah true about the referee abit fake...anyway actualli there is no top 1 fighter in muaythai...cos results are always constantly on the change...As competition are always held every weekly..monthly...perhaps dayly?? lolz..
Well said..U are absolutely correctOriginally posted by gentlerock:True true....in Bangkok alone, its actually almost daily (separated between Rajdamnern, Lumpini, Channel 7 and sometimes Rangsit stadium too). But not all are title matches. But there are so many types of title matches (Toyota, Red Bull, M-150, King's Cup, King's Birthday, etc etc....all of which are national level)....so its hard to define what kind of champion too....
And there are so many other provinces, towns, etc etc...each with their own title matches.
By the way, if I'm not mistaken.....I think Buakaw was defeated in K1 Korea later the same year he won in Japan. And he lost in K1 Japan the following year too. But he's really stylish, with his joker monkey face. Not many people can smile and jest through the 5 gruelling rounds. Did you see the clip where he danced with the super sexy Korean ring girl? Damned funny.....
I just pretend to punch and kick the air to look good and act macho lah, only when girls are around.Originally posted by Advante_101:Well said..U are absolutely correctu seems to noe alot about muaythai too..are u a muaythai disciple? which camp ? bxg..lana..hilltop?
