  So it is right to say that if a Chinese man married into a Malay Muslim family. He will need to convert to a Muslim and become a Chinese Muslim. The child will be a muslim by birth and but the race can be "Malay" or "Chinese" depended what the parent wanted. Am I right to say so.
  
  Or only the father's race decide the race of his children. I am still confused, since in this case, a european man married a asia woman, then their children should be european mah..

  YES you need to convert. yes your child will be muslim. yes the race can be malay or chinese depending on the father.
  
  anyway...european man marry a asian woman.... they have a name for it. the child would be called eurasian. its just tat there are no words known to call a chn + mly race... chinalay? hahah
