if u are wondering if there is any co-mobidity, then some pple w autism is mentally handicapped. their IQ usually fall within the mild to severe range.
however, there are also high-functioning autism: asperger syndrome. these pple have normal IQ compared to their counterparts, and have certain savant abilities, e.g. rem which date falls on which days on the calender, lightning calculations, art and geog skills.
