You've got it all wrong. I'm sorry to say that most of that nowadays are originated from Thai pops. You can check the release dates. Wake up boy. 'Cause Thai music companies are paid for the copyrights of those songs by Chinese artists. I told you to look at your CD's covers. It should state the origins of the songs. If you see companies named GMM Grammy, RS Promotion, Bekery Music, etc, those are Thai music companies.
And you know... you don't have to be a rich country to create arts. -

And your assumption is, sorry to say, quite illogical. Just "ASSUME" that Taiwanese artists are famous in Thailand, that doesn't mean that Thai artists here have to be copycats. Plus, it's a bit unfair for Thai artists when you "claimed" they copy Chinese music when you have never listened to (let alone heard of) all those Thai songs.
And can you really assert your idea as general (like when you said that TW, HK listeners have no idea about Thai music)? Wake up! You're NOT the center of the universe! Can you really claim that what you think or feel is the same as what others think or feel?

Most Thais don't actually care whether C, J, or K stars don't come to us 'cause we have our own entertainment industry. Of course, it's not big but absolutely not that small either. You never know who're listening to Thai pop or T-Pop....but we survive it and we're contantly developing our music industry. We have MTV Thailand and Channel [V] Thailand to our own and we're expecting another 24-hr music channel solely for Thai Pop very soon. Is Thai Pop really nothing ? I don't think so.
