Is it advisable tat i change the Thai baht at changi airport ?? Heard some currency can exchange for gd rate at changi airport..

At Parkway, be careful of the Chinese run one, they might cheat you; give you less than what you should get... because it is in foreign currency you get easily confused. Make sure you write the correct amount of the foreign currency on a piece of paper and you get the amount as stated on your piece of paper.
Don't rely on their receipt.
If you can only change at Changi, better you do at Bangkok airport; there are amny banks at Thailand airport.
Only banks are allowed to change money and so they set up small kiosks everywhere. They are banks so you do not get cheated. They give you proper receipt as well. -

If we take this as correct, then $1000 S$ is 23,800 - take the amount you want to change and multiply by 23.8
Then write it down on a piece of paper and make sure you ask the forex people how much baht you get for the amount you want to change before you hand over the money. Then look at the amount they quote and compare it with the amount in your paper. A little differnce is ok. 100 baht is about S$4 so anything les then 100 baht should be no problem. If they tell you 23760 for 1000 S$ then maybe you let it go if 2 of them quote that amount.
Like I said, it can be very confusing and at that moment it is very easy to cheat you. So write it down on a piece of paper.
For example, instead of telling you that 1 S$ is 23.8 they tell you 1 baht is 0.43 S$ to confuse you.
