when ask to answer the question , of course it is easy to say not afraid because you are feeling okay now what..
when death situation or death threat really comes, all those who say no, will feel no fear meh....
cmon, people feel anxious and nervous over little things like alevel results, health reports or job related stress, dun tell me you feel nothing if you know you are going to die, particularly, prematurely.
i watch the 'amazing race' or some shows will already feel anxious for the characters already loh... let alone death of me...
those who truly are not afraid of death are those who really experience a number of near death situation and really dun feel anything about it, and you come to this forum and tell us that, then i admit you really not afraid because you have truly experience near death experience.
those who never experience it before, and say all the theories no need to believe them lah... talk is free what... -

strangely, when I had a car accident some years ago, and my car was spinning out of control in the expressway tunnel and I thought I was going to die... my only thought was "... damn.. so this is how it all ends and how I am going to go"
I didn't have much time for fear or for that matter, the life flashing across my eyes sort of thing, even though the spinning felt like slow-mo.
But I think yes, it is HOW you die that is scary not death itself. I would be terrified if I am held hostage by terrorists and threatened with a slow, painful death.
But more than DYING, it is what death takes away from me that makes me afraid. Thinking of the days that the people I love will die makes me afraid how life can go on for me, and if I can remain 'whole' when someone so much a part of me dies. -
Take every day as your last day
Make sure you die without regrets
Life is full of the unexpected
