start by revising everyday, or every other day, at least, what the teachers are currently teaching. -
i suggest you start tomorrow.
and get off this forum and get a good nights sleep.

pay attention in class and try to understand what the teacher say.
Once u get back home,spend some time to revise what u have learn for the day.
durning exams then no need to struggle liao
Do lots of past yr papers,the o level examiner somehow alway repeat qns(durning my time) -
plan 1 subject 2-3 weeks, 1 day 1 chapter, end of studying each chapter, write notes on fullscap paper, by the time u finish ur revision, ur own written notes already good enough for ur revision b4 the exam

best to start now...adopt suitable strategies for each subject 'cause one strategy of studying may not work for all...
let's see...
english - this is a hard one...try to complete this book called "1100 words you need to know"
chinese - O level chinese is just 1 week away...nothing much you can do if you are taking it on 29/5...just practice on some past year papers or assessments and read newspapers...
higher chinese - (i don't take it myself, but reckon this is just like chinese except for the summary part) same as chinese just that O level higher chinese is in november...read and read and practice...nothing much else
emaths - practice and practice.
amaths - same as emaths.
combined humanities - depends on what elective you take.
SS - get the facts right. sharpen your writing skills too, or you will lose marks due to incoherent language which might make your answers look screwed.
elective geography - it's plain regurgitation. revise the content over and over again. nothing much else.
chemistry - tough one. revise content and do ten-year-series. memorise stuff like the valencies and reactivity series.
biology - as a clarification, biology papers are no longer about memorizing and vomitting facts onto the exam paper. lots of application and higher order thinking questions (damn it! thinking & application questions sux! damn hard to answer in words!). memorize, yes, and do ten-year-series too, it might be of some help.
physics - get the facts right and do ten-year-series.
in fact, word has gone round that this year's o level papers are gonna be real tough 'cause the cohort last year had it easy. it is always ideal to start early. like what the others said, make notes for revision. good luck!

haha...ironic la...everyone say start now...you think will really start meh?
i say...pay attention in class first...take notes down as per normal...then when its nearer...and you start to feel stress...you can start studying... -
wow 27 is very large.......can reduce to 10+ but you have to be damn hardworking.....tactics of a war.............a man prepares for the war to ensure victory.....not last minute effort........

just shoot all the way. But dont overstress yourself. My mid year was like 31 and I went overstressed for my prelims and ended up with 19 for prelims and down with chicken pox. In the end never really touched the books since all the way... O levels L1R5 14

I played all the way and got 11 for L1R4.
Ok la... Just make sure that your work is constant and practise alot alot!! Yes start early do help alot. Yeap thats the advice.
