Everytime I say something that disagree with what a Singaporean said, many if not most take it as personally and as an insult. OMG even in an anonymous forum!

As everyone can see, online forum is platform where ideas and words are harder to be misintepreted than in real live. It's as real, concise and clear as CCTV. There's neither underlying meaning, catch, nor ambiguous content whatsoever.
I have decided to tell my boss that if he wants to talk to me from today onwards, he can only communicate with me on sgforums. I might consider helping him to register an account/sign up pm if he ask politely via email. -

I think it's the mindset lah. Most people don't like to be opposed so when they are they get defensive. So they just like to lash out in unpredictable ways to intimidate the first person instead. In schools mostly debates on small stuffs end up to be a fight in the toilet
