how to differentiate LV wallet..?

So many dad has bought many LV wallets (authentic ones) in the past when he was on business trips. Anyway, i want to put it to use, but i can't figure out which is for male and which is for female.
So does anyone know how to differentiate? Besides the brown casing, and a paper wrapping, there is no wordings. All of them are brown with LV wordings on it btw. -
the real one is uglier than sin, while the fake ones are just butt-ugly

noooo. i mean differentiate between male/female designs. not between real/fake. because i'm very sure they are authentic because my dad got it from LV boutiques.

they got the same designs[checkers design] on almsot every product -
its not about the design la.
for lv its about the name and the price tag that is attractive. -

seriously i thought LV is only for girls
that kinda of standard pattern on every single bag look so ugly and especially bad on a guy. -
i have to agree, they are ugly.
And one problem about LV is there are too many fake ones, so many that even you carry the real one, ppl tend to think that it's fake.
For male/female, i think it doesnt really matter, as long as you feel that it suits you.
Wallets are not like shirts, which male/female has difference on how they place the buttons. -
Compared to LV, I see more Singaporeans carrying haversacks from different brands like Deuter, Eastpack, Billabong, Ocean Pacific and etc.
Honestly, those are far worse than LV. Totally cheap looking and unprofessional. They are only good for primary schoolers.
Real men go for custom made Italian designer goods.
Back to the topic, males wallets are generally shorter in lenght and most of them take on the squarish shape. Most male wallets are folded instead of buttoned. -
LV design got both male and female .

- Epi leather ( my favourite)
- Utah
-Nomade leather
- damier canvas( quite nice too)
and a few others i can't remember.
