A super dilemmaThe new Superman movie must be banned at any cost!

AS a parent of three, I am increasingly concerned about the spate of movies coming our way that may influence our kids.
Take for instance this upcoming movie, which is fiction masquerading as fact, about a baby from a faraway place who comes to earth, and grows up possessing supernatural powers that he uses to save the world.
Yes, of course, I am talking about the new Superman movie, Superman Returns. I think we should ban this movie. At the very least, try to get an NC16 rating for it.
Young, impressionable minds may watch this "work of fiction" and believe that Superman actually exists! Then we will have to deal with an epidemic of young people who think they too can fly! Or worse, think they should walk around wearing their underwear outside! Think of how this will rend the very fabric of society.

then i think santa claus or tons of other mythical creatures should be banned too
During chrismas period,there are so many advertisement who uses santa claus as an icon to advertise their items..........God forbid that children will be mislead to think the mysterious Santa Uncle really exist and expect gift and OMG make the parents pay for them.....
Seriously this complainer is deluded,what is wrong with fiction and some fantasy stuff,people will grow out of them sooner or later on what is real and what is not.If he really think that children can't do that,maybe he/she is the one with problems who cannot differential such stuff....... -

yeah ban da vinci code too or christians of weak faith will all mass defect
or for that matter might as well ban all movies,since most of them are created just for entertainment and not based on facts.
Ban all works of fiction story book,novels,everything that is not true.
Maybe should ban himself/herself too since he/she lives in a unreal world...... -

I have finished reading the article wrote by the concerned parents.
It seemed like the writer is working for the film company that battling the film company that make the superman movie.
I respect his paranoid in banning the Superman movie.
But, he is being paranoid or he may have broken his leg trying to be superman.
Kids nowadays are more smart in distinguishing the real and the fiction.
If they are not exposed to the "bad' movies, they would not be able to differentiate what is right or wrong or what is good or bad.
Just like singapore.
Being "parent" too much that we ourselves become paranoid about nude in some movies. -
i really do not know why... but Home Run banned in MY leh.

yeah.... Superman should be banned.
It teaches our kids to wear underwear on the outside.
Also teaches our kids to run around wearing a piece of rag on the back.

The article is a joke.
If we don't think, research and investigate facts, we will still be living in caves. I'm gonna say it again, ignorance is a sin. And these people are the most dangerous lot of all.
And one important thing, probably the most important, it is the parent's responsibility to educate their kids what is right or wrong, fact or fiction! Wanting authority to ban this, ban that, is just plain lazy and irresponsible. -
