Half Life 2, what happen to it ?

i heard that Valut had lost it rights to EA. so now HL2 is under EA and the production has been suspended.
can any1 update me ? i can't seem to find a thing on this.
i am a great fan of HL2 because of graphics and physics engine it is very interactive to play with, but is a pitty that now i finally have a com that can support HL2 the game itself is gone. haiz
only gamers will know how i feel.
any help will be greatly appreciated

ya don't have already i tried looking for it, the game shop uncle tell me i need to wait, cause EA will like repackage HL2 and sell it again under it's rights.
i just want to confirm this, and by which date will it come out . -

Valve doesn't even deserve to keep it.
Serves them right for not managing their resources well. Leaking its source code, dily dallying HL2 for close to a year, shame on them I say. -
Half life 2 is terrible. It gives me nightmare and makes me question the purpose of life. I keep jumping down a building at one stage and I didnt like the feeling of wooo hooo Im dead.
(the stage towards the end, at the lab)
Furthermore I was physically sick. Half life 2 really made me sick. Dont get me wrong, HL2 is great and fun game. But during that period I was still recovering from the shock of being in a car accident and stuff. -
The episodic sequel to HL2 has gone gold.

I absolutely LOVE the Ravenholm stage in HL2 it brings back great memories the town is swarming with headcrabs released by the Combine and theyve infested the townsfolk and you're sent in, you feel alone, then you get assistance from father gregori, the only survivor, but hes nuts and he laughs to himself, do dont bother much abt him. anyway its something like survival horror during that stage and youve to always watch ur back...Originally posted by chrisbenoit:Half life 2 is terrible. oh my gawd. that stage. I hated that stage. I couldn't play more than 30 mins a stretch at that stage without freaking out finally n quitting. if cant play on steam,i'll be really pissed off,but leting them realse by EA games,u can ensure the game to be shipped to Singapore everywhere.Not like Day Of Defeat Source,hardly found in Singapore except sim lim...
