I'm not...but somehow i feel that, for her belief in Christianity, her "sufferings" could be just a "test" or "entry" to her paradise....To many, it may seems to be a suffering for her, that's pain....but it might not be....i'm not sure....
Perphaps, many ppl will feel sad for her...like what you've mentioned, sad for why she suffered in the beginning....but to me, again, indirectly, to say that she suffered in pain, does it means that their religious God is giving her the painful process before returning back to his/her arms? hMz...frankly speaking..i do not know also....

some things in life , fairness does not apply.
i am an athetist, so i believe death means end of soul, i would prefer that there is heaven, but i just cannot see how there can be one.
to joan family, they have to recover from their loss. anyway, in buddhism, we must not desire, and learn to let go of everything, especially things that are not within our cotrol in the first place.
crying over loss of family member is very normal, so go ahead and cry. -

whoever said that we go straight to judgement after we die? the bible did say that we will all be judged only at the 'end of days' so after we die, thats it, its like a switch being switched off. u dun get to enjoy heaven or suffer hell. u stay in a state of suspended animation, until the end of days, and then u go face judgement to decide if u spend eternity in heaven or hell.
so maybe its not something to rejoice about, because she is not "enjoying heaven and the arms of lord" now. in any case tho, thats my friend's belief, not mine. still, i don't see much cause for happiness with her passing. even if she is with the lord, its still a small comfort for her loved ones. -

either way, i see it as a small consolation really, for the passing of a young life. but anyways, i guess as with all deaths, it has to be accepted ultimately.
