Bicycle chat: which type of brakes is better

  There r three types of brakes. v brake, hydraulic disc and mechenical disc.
  Which type is better, value and weight-wise.
  
  Im personally using mech but i dunno whether i shld upgrade to hydro...hmm..??

  For Singapore terrain , i tink V brake better. no really extreme slopes that u need hydros or mechenicals.

  Mech brakes dont need much maintanence , but you need to make sure the pads are lined up properly , and your wheel can take the mount.

  Hydraulic brakes sibei ex nia, if you are riding a trial bike ar, maybe can lah, but brake kit + installation might cost more than $100 and the maintainence is sibei sibei ma huan 1... If ur bike accepts U-brake ar, Use a dialed U-brake even much better, maintainence low and cheap, although getting it dialed is not quite easy but dialed u-brakes really brake better than v-brake, i swear by it.
