http://www.channelnewsasia.comPlease be informed that whenever a humanitarian crisis occurs, such as this catastrophic Earthquake, you can always help by donating to the international humanitarian aid agencies - Doctors Without Borders, MercyCorps and UN's World Food Programme. Also, there's a humanitarian aid agency based here in Sg, called MercyRelief.

Anyways, I earlier sent out the following e-mail to all my friends and correspondences :
Greets,
This is not about only the recent Java Earthquake, but in general, regarding all Humanitarian crises occuring whenever there are major disasters, whether natural or man-involved.
Again, a sincere reminder that should you wish to contribute your support to these causes, you can do so via the following three international humanitarian aid agencies (online donation) :
MercyCorps
http://www.mercycorps.org
Doctors Without Borders
http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org
UN's World Food Programme
http://www.wfp.org/english
Just to say that I've personally been supporting these 3 international humanitarian aid agencies for some time now (including for the current Java earthquake crisis), and will continue to do so all the way. (For 2006 so far, I've donated approximately $500+, shared amongst the 3 agencies).
And I hope that should one day you (or someone you know) wish to give your support to any humanitarian cause around the world, let us be grateful that international humanitarian aid agencies such as these 3 exist, helping all people everywhere around the world, and (let us also be grateful that they're) also helping us (by acting as a bridge) to help all people around the world.
Thank you.
