My guess is that the 6.4% is just an average growth of all the industries in Singapore. Take for example the Wholesale and Retail trade industry has rose 10.5%. You must remember that this 10.5% is the growth as compared to its economic development in the previous year for the Wholesale and retail trade sector ONLY. Same goes for the others. When the Utilities industry has an economic growth of 3.5%, it pulls down the average economic growth percentage of the country.Originally posted by YummyGummy:Hi i need some help for my poly project.Singapore's economy is supposed to have grown 6.4% for the whole of last year but i just don't understand how they come up with this 6.4% thing.According to this website
