There are 64 billion genetic combinations to how a human being looks/is, so basically there are 64 billion ways the human genes can be combined. This means that there is actually a possibility that someone may have had or will have a genetically identical twin in the past or future. In mankind's history, over 60 billion people have lived and died. Genetic mutations have raised the number of combinations, until it has reached the number 64 billion. This may explain the extremely bizzare phenomenon of the Doppelgangers, where people have seen others who look like them, with exactly the same facial features and lifestyle habits. They were initially thought of to be the spirit of the living person manifesting in the physical realm. But, reading through what I've mentioned, you'll think that it has a more scientific(genetic) than spiritual explanation. Any thoughts on this?

nothing scientific anout my post but I have many folks who come and tell me they look their their friend or sister or someone they know but cannot put a finger on. Its amazing how often I hear that and I hear that with every new person I come to know. But I know the old folks would tell you in this world, they claim there would be about 7 persons who would look like any 1 individual. I do not know how they came up with the number or the claim.

thus some superstitious people believe that the spirit of the deceased grandma has gone into the baby.
it is rare. but not that rare also. -

I know of one person having not the same but similar face as me (based on other people's observation)
He is currently in United Kingdom (I think) appears on TV few years back and became a very popular household name in Singapore. -
